Jack Straw, the leader of House of Commons, commented on the wearing of the veil which led to several arguments and dispute about the wearing of the nicaab and also the attitudes towards them.

“The conversation would be of greater value if the lady took the covering from her face”
His controversial comments have offended thousands of Muslims all around the U.K
Mr Straw claims he did not want to be "prescriptive" but believed that covering peoples faces could make community relations more difficult.
“We are able to relate particularly to strangers by being able to read their faces and if you can't read peoples faces, that does provide some separation”
However every woman has the right to wear what they wish and not be forced to remove or wear the nicaab. Equal rights should be taken in to consideration as well as female rights.
When it comes to religious beliefs, instead of jumping to conclusions, people should be more tolerant and aware of the comment they are about to make.
