Faster and better-Games of Today....By Arber

Over the years, gaming has risen from the dusty clouds of the Nintendo to the new technology of the Playstation 3 which some scientists have even traded their computers for.

Its blue ray technology allows game designers to extend the qualities of their games to the limit where graphics look photo realistic.
The blue ray discs can store up to 25GB (6 times more then the ordinary CD!) making it perfect to create breathtaking games such as the new Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

The Call of Duty series had always blown the game charts but this year it is sure to wake you up like a face full of ice water.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a first person shooter game. It has been driven out of the world-war 2 period and, as the name suggests, been brought to the modern day.

The game has been criticised for being too short where you can finish the campaign mode in 5 or 6 hours. So if you had bought it on a Saturday, on Sunday you will be playing the campaign mode for your second time but even if it’s so short it covers a lot of ground.

The game has breathtaking graphics with some jaw dropping moments and some scenes where you would stop and think, is this a photo?
Its storyline is spellbinding with some scenes where you would look around the room to tell people “I can’t believe that happened”. Each stage you go through the plot gets more intriguing and will leave you with cliff hangers.

This game also has an online mode where you can battle against people all around the world so making this game playable for almost a year.
This game was given a 9/10.

All of this was possible because of the new technology from the Playstation 3 making this consol stand out against the rest.
But you will have to start saving up as it costs at least £300 and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare costing £50.00 but I'm telling you, it is worth it.
