Is Technology becoming unsafe? ... By Jabeen Rizvi

I believe as an average teenager, technology is rapidly evolving but not for the better. For example mobile phones should be used for its own purpose & not as an extended accessory. Teenagers are forgetting the purpose of mobile phones and using them as gadgets which I believe will not be safe but unsafe. Also mobile phones are so advanced now they are becoming delicate and fragile whereas the old but standard phone was strong.

The access of interactive facilities also has its disadvantages; for example cyber bullying is an extremely strong issue which has to be tackled. Cyber bulling is when people bully others through interactive technology; for example using text messages, websites or even email.

Tell your children not to click on pop ups or go to unknown sites or even try to install a virus protection program on your computer. Regularly check the websites that have been visited by your child.

The internet safety is also tremendously important because just to know that anyone can look at your personal details through the faults of technology, for me is exceptionally frightening.

Do you ever wonder why your children are hooked on the internet? Could they be talking to a complete stranger? Could they be on an insecure website?
This is up to you to change! Don’t let vulnerable children be misled & taken advantage of.
